Atelier - Sheldon Museum of Art
This project explores the use of frame and threshold as a means of creating an engaging addition to the Sheldon Museum of Art. Elements of the existing museum are reinterpreted in the new design; a prominent urban form, the differentiation between structure and skin, and the use of curated perspective. Programmatically, the addition uses half of the symmetrical layout of the Sheldon, and turns it on its end to create the tower in the sunken garden.
Community Crucible
To provide a voice to the people, our project embraces the concept of Community Crucible. A place or situation in which concentrated forces interact to cause or influence change or development. To enact that change our proposal identifies three strategies to facilitate development; adapt, sustain, and engage.Adapt refers to the flexible and loosely fitted program that sits within the project that is ever changing with community needs.
15 Minute City, Gateway Mall Redevelopment

Landscape architecture students developed designs for portions of the open space and architecture students developed designs for selected buildings. This review will focus on the design and performance of these designs.

Parafiction
This thesis demonstrates parafiction as one productive method of exercising architectural imagination. I define parafiction as a type of fiction that begins with a fact and is presented as a fact in order to demonstrate what the world could be. To demonstrate parafiction as a productive technique of exercising imagination in architecture, this project consists of a short mock documentary, website and archive that are presented as factual.
