Admissions for Freshman, Transfer, and Graduate Students
Thuy serves as the contact person for any prospective student interested in applying for architecture, landscape architcture, or interior design (undergraduate and graduate programs). Students who have questions regarding the transfer process, transfer credit, AP credit, should see Thuy.
High School Students
High school students who are interested in visiting the college, can contact Campus Visits directly at 402-472-4887. A part of your visit would include visiting with the Architecture/Landscape Architecture Program Director or with the Interior Design Program Director. Thuy also is available for Campus Visits.
Thuy also coordinates Red Letter Day during the fall. At Red Letter Day, you have a chance to attend academic presentations, meet with faculty from your academic area of interest, have lunch in a residence hall, meet other prospective students and interact with current students. When you attend the Red Letter Day for Architecture/Landscape Architecture/Interior Design, you will participate in a hands-on activity led by professors of the college.
Student Ambassadors
Thuy also has the privilege of recruiting and coordinating tours with College of Architecture Ambassadors. These students do a great job of representing the College and the programs it has to offer. If you are at least a 2nd year student in any of the three programs and interested in becoming an ambassador, please come see Thuy!
Pre-Architecture Academic Advising
Thuy is also one of our two pre-architecture academic advisors. Please check your WAM account to see if you have been assigned to Thuy or Stephanie for advising.
As I'm sure you are aware, pre-registration for the Spring 2009 semester is quickly approaching.
Seniors can register beginning October 27th.
Juniors can register beginning October 30th.
Sophomores can register beginning November 4th.
And Freshmen can register beginning November 7th.
This means we will need to set up a time in the near future to meet and go over your Spring Schedule.

For students in the 2nd year studio courses (Arch 210&220 Basic Design)
Stephanie and I will be coming to your studio class on Tuesday, October 28th at 12:30 p.m.
We will most likely answer the majority of your registration questions in class, but please feel free to sign up for an individual appt with me if you like.
_____________________________________________
I will be posting my advising sign up sheet on the counter by my desk. Everyone who wants to come in for an advising appt is encouraged to come in and sign up early.
Every single freshman should be signing up to see me for an advising appointment. This is where you will obtain the call numbers for your visual literacy courses...so be sure to stop in and sign up.
All I ask is that you sign up at least 24 hours in advance.
