Areas of Interest
A professional career as a health care and educational architect was enhanced by an opportunity to explore the design of urban open space to support health and well-being. Matriculating to the GSD at Harvard University opened the door to continued interest in sustainable and environmentally sound urban development. My interest is sustainable, urban open space systems with a focus on campus planning and the impact on surrounding areas. Most recently professional work at Washington State University has been in the redevelopment of campus open space systems to enhance the pedestrian experience on campus. The Library Road Project returned a campus core right of way back to pedestrians while still maintaining emergency and essential vehicle access.
