Behavioral and Social Factors in Environmental Design is a comprehensive survey of theory, methods, research and findings from the social and behavioral sciences as they relate to architecture, interior design, and regional and community planning. Application of principles to architecture and interior programs/designs and to the planning process.

This site was developed to share information on social and behavioral factors affecting environmental design. On this site you will find research papers and bibliographies prepared by students of Interior Design and Architecture at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, College of Architecture. (Architecture 456/556/856) Their work was generated from term projects for a course entitled Social and Behavioral Factors in Environmental Design. One of the intentions in creating this site is to facilitate an advancement of knowledge in the field by sharing references and applications which these students have found relevant and useful to their design concerns.
