Royster has served on the PAC since 2006, when Dean Emeritus Wayne Drummond invited him to join the PAC to represent the interests of the landscape architecture profession, on behalf of the newly formed Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Program. Royster’s goal on the PAC is to help the program grow and produce students well-rounded in design and technical skills. Royster understands the need to nurture the next generation of landscape architects, and he has enjoyed his role as a mentor at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and with students in the landscape architecture programs in Kansas State, South Dakota State and North Dakota State Universities.
