The Kruger Gallery Opens Three Exhibitions for the Academic Year

Curiosities and Delights
As homage to the sixteenth century European cabinets of curiosity, the “Curiosities and Delights” exhibition has natural, cultural and scientific miniatures from the Kruger Collection.

Divine Design
The golden ratio signifies a visually appealing object. To apply the golden ratio to furniture, designers use the golden rectangle, where the ratio of the length to width equals golden ratio. This exhibition contains examples of the golden rectangle in furniture design.

Eloise Kruger, Necessary Maker
While collecting miniatures was her primary focus, Eloise Kruger, the namesake of the Kruger Collection, did make miniatures and design miniature room settings. This exhibition highlights some of her original designs.
