Being published and presenting papers is a big part of a faculty member's career and offers much distinction in the collegiate community. We are proud to announce the following faculty accomplishments:
Assistant Professor Peter Olshavsky will be presenting a paper on Daniel Libeskind's "Three Lessons in Architecture" at the Society of Architectural Historians' conference this coming April. In addition, Olshavsky's essay, "Hidden Multitude: Libeskind's Three Lessons in Architecture" will be published in the forthcoming peer-reviewed journal Dialectics with the University of Utah.
Associate Professor Brian Kelly had a paper accepted at the National Conference on the Beginning Design Student which will be delivered at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in February 2016. He also had two projects selected as finalists for national design awards from the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) and will present his work at their 2016 Annual Conference, themed Interior Design Matters, taking place in Portland, Oregon.
Associate Professor Timothy Hemsath's publications and presentations have been given a boost of energy lately. Hemsath presented at the 6th International Building Physics Conference with his presentation entitled "Building Design with Energy Performance as Primary Agent" and was recently published in the Energy Procedia Journal.
