The College of Architecture is pleased to announce Instructor Timothy L. Hemsath has recently been published with Energy and Buildings for his article entitled "Housing orientation's effect on energy use in suburban developments."
His article explores how a housing’s orientation has a substantial effect on the total heating and cooling loads that consumers pay for as part of their monthly utility bills.
