Please join us in congratulating Professor Rumiko Handa on her most recent publications.•Handa has contributed a chapter titled “Coelum Britannicum: Inigo Jones and Symbolic Geometry,” in Architecture and Mathematics from Antiquity to the Future, a two-volume book edited by Kim Williams and Michael J. Ostwald and published by Springer. The second volume, “the 1500s to the Future,” was published earlier this year, and includes Handa’s chapter. For more information, go to:
•Handa's article, “At Home in Aspen,” is on Shigeru Ban's Aspen Art Museum. It was included in the February 2015 issue of SPACE, a professional magazine published in Korea, in both English and Korean languages.
•Handa's paper titled “W. G. Sebald’s Austerlitz: Architecture as a Bridge between the Lost Past and the Present” has been accepted for presentation at Reading Architecture Symposium in Athens, Greece, to be held in June, 2015.
•Handa has done all her work and is waiting for Architecture, Culture and Spirituality to come out from Ashgate in October 2015. It is a book edited by Thomas Barrie, Julio Bermudez, and Phillip Tabb, and includes Handa’s chapter titled "Experiencing the Architecture of the Incomplete, Imperfect, and Impermanent."
