Faculty Member Recognized at Regional & State AIA Competitions
The College of Architecture congratulates Architectural Program Director Jeffrey L. Day for his most recent design awards. His Omaha and San Francisco based architectural firm Min | Day won several distinguished honors at AIA regional and state competitions this fall for the Bucktown House, a recent project located in Chicago.

College Loses One of Its Own
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear friend, Andrew (Andy) Schultz, who was a colleague, teacher, mentor, friend and much more to the students, staff and faculty of the College of Architecture. Andy started with the College in 2007 where he was responsible for the operation of the shop.

The Blue Barn Theatre has been an Omaha project in the works for some time now, and we are happy to announce it is now complete thanks to all its community supporters including artistic director Susan Clement-Toberer and numerous other Blue Barn project visionaries. The new location rests at 10th and Pacific.

Meet Landscape Architecture Student Laura Koch
The world is your canvas when you are a designer, but all the world's a stage when you're also a performer. Laura Koch, a fourth-year Landscape Architecture student with the College of Architecture at UNL, can usually be found one of two places, in Arch Hall or at Memorial Stadium spinning her flag and practicing for her next game day performance.
