How are we utilizing the Ticket Revenue?
All event revenue is being used to cover the costs of the Embassy Suites event room rentals and catering expenses. There are three funding sources. The College is providing some financial support to defray costs. There are gala and table sponsorships that is being handled by the NU Foundation - thank you to all sponsors! Finally, there are ticket sales that are being managed by UNL.
Where do we check-in? Everyone will check-in at the Embassy Suites lobby. There will be one set of check-in tables for students and families attending the College Graduation Ceremony in the Ballroom and another set of check-in tables for Alumni attending the Cocktail Hour in the Atrium and the Gala.
How to dress: This is not a black-tie / formal gala. Note that most students typically dress semi-formal to business-formal, students’ family and friends typical dress from casual to business formal, and we imagine that alumni will likely dress in a range from business casual to business-formal.
