50th Anniversary Video Form

Thank you for agreeing to submit a short video for the college's 50th Anniversary.  Theme ideas for your 2 minute (max) video, 1) Your fondest memories at UNL, 2) What a UNL education has meant to you and your career or 3) Possibly a tribute to an inspirational faculty member or peer. We will be using these videos as event teasers for social media. If you want to also nominate one of your friends as the next COA anniversary video ambassador, that's also a great way to engage you classmates. Please fill out this form by March 1st.

Video Tips:

For the video, using your cell phone is just fine. Video length should be no longer than 2 minutes. You can record it on selfie mode, or you can have a friend record. A vertical recording is preferred but not required. Also be sure you are recording in an area with adequate lighting and are well lit. Do not record in front of a window or other light source as this could cause a silhouette.

If it helps, here are some starter examples of what you could say.

"Hi this is John Doe, class of 68, for me some of my fondest memories include my travel abroad experience with my classmates. I remember when…."

"My education at UNL has……(fill in the blank). I plan on being at the 50th anniversary Gala, join me and other classmates this May!""

Or

"Hi this is John Doe, class of 68, for me some of my fondest memories include all the fun times I had in studio with my classmates. I remember when…."

"My education at UNL has……(fill in the blank). I plan on being at the 50th anniversary Gala, join me and other classmates this May!""

 Or

"Hi this is John Doe, class of 68, for me some of my fondest memories include working hard in studio and then relaxing at Casey’s afterwards with my classmates. I remember when…."
