For Master-Level Graduate Students
Master-level graduate students at the University of Nebraska wishing to complete a minor in Community and Regional Planning must complete nine CRPL credit hours. A minor for the master’s degree under any option must consist of at least 9 credit hours and may be taken in any one department or interdepartmental area that has been approved to offer a major leading to a master’s degree. In addition, the minor may, in certain departments, be completed in a subdivision of the administrative department. Approved fields of study, which may be selected within each administrative department, must be approved by the Graduate Council for use as a minor.
All credit hours in the Community and Regional Planning minor must be graded with letter grades. In accordance with policies of the UNL Office of Graduate Studies, a grade of B is passing. Receiving a C in any of the courses to be counted toward a minor will require the student to pass a comprehensive examination in the minor.
