Ali Al Tasan

1990 Master of Architecture alumnus Ali Al Tasan is now the engineering department manager at Riyad Bank in Saudi Arabia. During his tenure with Riyad Bank, Tasan has managed 60 new bank branch construction projects valuing well over $200 million (USD). Most recently Tasan managed the relocation and construction of Riyad Bank’s Primary Data Centre with an estimated cost of $27 million (USD). Tasan started at Riyad Bank in 1998 as their design section head in their engineering department developing architectural designs for their new and renovated branches. Riyad Bank is one of the largest financial institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Established in 1957, the company has grown to more than 5,600 employees.

Riyad Bank plays a leading role in various areas of finance and investment around Saudi Arabia. They are a leading financier and arranger of syndicated loans in the oil, petrochemicals and most of the Kingdom’s notable infrastructure projects.
