Interview Advice
Please keep in mind that your participation in the College of Architecture Internship / Career Fair comes with the responsibilities of showing up to your scheduled interviews, being well-prepared, and conducting yourself in a professional manner. A no-show reflects badly on you, and the college. If you do not show up, please realize that you have taken an opportunity from both your colleagues and the attending firm to use your interview appointment time.

Attending Firms
Thank you for your firm's interest in our annual UNL College of Architecture Internship / Career Fair! We are excited to connect you with these emerging and talented professionals. Here is some information regarding our 2025 event:
Location of Interview Spaces
The Gallery (2nd Floor, Room 210, Architecture Hall East, in front of the Dean's Office) typically opens each morning around 7:45 am and you are welcome to begin setting up at this time. Directories and signs will be installed the night before your day of interviews so that each of you can find your respective space and begin setting up prior to fair time. Most of you will have a 30" x 8'-0" collapsible table for your use. Depending upon actual location, others of you may have something similar – we should be able to accommodate any reasonable need. Electrical service shall be provided. You are welcome to pin-up as much material as your pin-up walls will allow.
We will make it a point to greet each of you before 8:30 am in order to introduce ourselves and see if we can provide you with any additional support. A catered lunch is scheduled between noon and 1 pm, and bottled water will be provided throughout the day.
Management of Available Timeslots & Scheduled Interviews
Event format: This year’s format will offer flexibility and the opportunity for you to meet several students. The morning of both days will be exhibition style where students will be able to walk around and meet you informally at your booth. Following a networking lunch, the afternoon will consist of 20 minute interviews similar to past years’ events. The interview schedule will be under your control and you can make arrangements to connect with those you meet in the morning, or to pre-schedule interview times with students you have connected with prior to the event through the look book.
