Dean Emeritus Given ASLA Honorary Membership
The UNL College of Architecture is pleased to announce Wayne Drummond, FAIA, Dean Emeritus was chosen as a 2016 Honor Recipient by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Selected by ASLA’s Board of Trustees, Drummond was given the accolade of Honorary Membership.

Ankerson named dean of UNL College of Architecture
Katherine Ankerson, professor and head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Product Design at Kansas State University, has accepted appointment as dean of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Architecture. The appointment, pending approval by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents, was announced May 23.

His Omaha and San Francisco based architectural firm Min | Day was awarded the “Special Commendation for Urban Design” for their Blue Barn Theatre Omaha & Boxcar 10 projects at the 2016 AIA San Francisco - AIASF Design Awards Ceremony and Gala.

It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Mr. Erhard Schütz, valued friend and former instructor with the College of Architecture. He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on the 27th of March 2016.
