“Curiosities and Delights”-- As homage to the sixteenth century European cabinets of curiosity, the “Curiosities and Delights” exhibition has natural, cultural and scientific miniatures from the Kruger Collection.

Landscape Architecture Student Helps National Park Service Prepare for Solar Eclipse
Basking in the shadow of the moon of a total solar eclipse is a rare experience not encountered by most Nebraskans (at least not since June 30, 1954, according to NASA). This total solar eclipse is projected to grace the skies again August 21, 2017. For most, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a spectacular solar/lunar anomaly with its national border-to-border path trajectory.

CHILDREN BUILD GREEN ROOFS FOR SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Nebraska elementary school children are learning how to “Build a Better World” through the 2017 Nebraska Extension 4-H Summer Reading Program which is focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) projects for children this summer. As part of this initiative, public libraries across Nebraska have been introducing children to fun themed, STEM activities and reading lessons.
