Belinda Fowler is currently the environmental assistance coordinator at the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy; supporting agency outreach and helping small business navigate environmental permitting requirements. She has worked in various environmental positions for over 25 years and earned her Master’s Degree from UNL in Community and Regional Planning in 2018.
Her past roles have included managing environmental compliance for facilities of the Nebraska Department of Transportation, as an EHSS manager at an ethanol production facility and across the United States and as an environmental, health, safety. DOT regulatory trainer and consultant.
Ms. Fowler has strong interests in merging scientific principles into the field of community planning and emergency response. She enjoys her role in supporting new businesses and engaging and learning with her students. Her hobbies include home remodel projects, gardening, camping and traveling.
