Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
University holiday and closures may affect these hours. Additionally the first and last weeks of the semester the CoA Shop is on an abbreviated schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Shop Training and Orientation Videos
With over 3,000 square feet, the Architecture Shop is a large, well-equipped space where architecture students can make projects in a variety of materials utilizing both power and hand tools. This comprehensive, hands-on learning facility is used by students at all levels of the program. The shop is staffed by a shop manager and student employees who assist students with safety and instruction in the space. Additionally the College of Architecture houses a variety of digital fabrication equipment including three laser cutters, several 3D printers and a three axis CNC router.
