Fall 2023 Dean's List
More than 6,800 University of Nebraska–Lincoln students have been named to the Deans’ List for the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year, 163 were from the College of Architecture. Qualification for the Deans’ List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. To qualify for the Deans’ List, College of Architecture students must earn a 3.75 GPA.

50th Anniversary Gala Registration is Open
We are excited to invite our alumni and friends to our 50th Anniversary Gala taking place on May 17 at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln. The festivities will commence at 5 p.m., with a cocktail hour, followed by an awards ceremony and culminating in a grand gala celebration.

Faculty Research Aims to Conserve and Protect Wetlands with Satellite Technology
In the past 100 years, Nebraska has seen significant loss of its natural resources from tallgrass prairies to wetlands. In fact, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks, 98 percent of the tallgrass prairies and 35 percent of wetlands have been lost, primarily due to conversion to cropland or construction activities.

Seventh Year in a Row, SARA National Recognizes Student Excellence
Twenty-six students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Architecture have been honored with awards from the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA), National Design Awards 2023 program. Of the thirteen student group submissions selected by the SARA jury for award, UNL received four of the honors.

Nationally Renowned Designer Nader Tehrani Gives First Hyde Lecture of the Season
The College of Architecture is excited to announce Nader Tehrani, nationally renowned designer of architecture school buildings including the newest addition to Architecture Hall, will be giving the first Hyde Lecture of the season entitled “The Animate Analytique” at 4 p.m., October 13, in the Sheldon Museum of Art’s Ethel S. Abbott Auditorium.

Professor Appointed President Elect - National Architectural Accrediting Board
The College of Architecture is pleased to announce Professor Jeffrey L Day, FAIA, NCARB has been appointed as president elect for the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) starting this November, and in 2025 he will serve as president.
