The College of Architecture is pleased to announce Master of Architecture student Jati Zunaibi has recently been accepted into the 2019-2020 American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) CRIT Scholar Program.

The College of Architecture is excited to announce Billy Fleming, the Wilks Family Director of the Ian McHarg Center at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, will be giving the next Hyde lecture titled "Design and the Green New Deal” at 4 p.m., February 7th, at the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

The College of Architecture is excited to announce Keith Krumwiede, dean of the Architecture Division at the California College of the Arts, will be giving the next Hyde lecture titled "Once Upon a Time in Another America” at 4 p.m., January 17th, at the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

As many rural areas experience declining jobs, shrinking populations and eroding incomes, several Nebraska communities are pushing back against the trend and embracing what makes them unique and enhancing it.

In the next couple of years, UNL’s Ruth Staples Child Development Lab and the Family Resource Center will likely break ground on a new duplex facility just east of the Barkley Memorial Center aimed at capturing and enhancing the synergy of the two programs with students from the College of Architecture helping them communicate their vision and explore new possibilities.

Planning for climate change isn’t easy. The complexity of the issue itself is hard to digest, let alone translate into action items. But a new suite of tools designed by a group of University of Nebraska-Lincoln researchers gives municipal planners a clearer climate picture of what to expect and prepare for.
